Module 3
I have interacted with are the students to see how the teacher’s and the assistants are reacting and how they may approach the DAP. Having the developmentally appropriate practices will help the children in their future studies. The special learning insights that I have learned is to really pay attention to the students. The best way to figure out what the child needs is to watch them throughout the day. By observing the child it tells one what they need and what they do not need. This is even for if the child needs more attention then their other peers. Getting the community involved into the students lives from their parents may also help them succeed because they are willing to help the students and the teachers, depending on the day and what is needed.

Ashley,
ReplyDeleteI agree observation is very important but I also assess as well. I also speak with the parents each morning when I can to give me information on how the child has done the night before. It also gives me a chance to communicate with the child and the parents. Children love to tell me their stories and it also lets me know what their interests are so that I can plan accordingly. Great Post
